The long-time aide and “second daughter” to Hillary Clinton confirmed her relationship with Alex Soros in an Instagram story posted by both parties on Valentine’s Day, according to US media. Abedin, 47, and Alex, 38, are seen in the photo getting cosy at a Parisian restaurant with red roses laid across the table. The couple have a nine-year age gap.
Abedin made headlines in 2022 for her romantic connection to Cooper – known for his roles in Maestro and A Star is Born – after the pair were introduced by Anna Wintour, according to People magazine. The pair later split, with Cooper now reported to be dating model Gigi Hadid.
Before dating Cooper, Abedin was married to the disgraced former New York congressman Anthony Weiner from 2010 to 2017. Their marriage fell apart when Weiner’s scandalous sexts – including ones that involved a 15-year-old – came to light.
